Do you believe in ghosts now?
While some of us remain sceptical about ghouls and ghosts, some people believe that there are creatures in this world aside from us—creatures that are not meant to be seen. When man is faced with creatures of the unknown, he would perceive it as the most familiar to him: the human body. When smoke, or light is caught on cam, some people would perceive them to be in the shape of humans, or ghosts of their dead. But have you seen one for yourself?
A 19th century school in Cork, Ireland claims that these unseen creatures lurk in their school and can be extremely violent. In a video footage recorded along the hallways of Deerpark school went viral on social media, shocking and terrifying many viewers.
It all started when the lights along the hallway started turning on and off. A few moments later, one of the doors started to open and close on its own—while there was no one in the said area.
Principal Kevin Barry said: ‘Obviously we were alerted to movement in the school and when we went back to review the movement that’s what we saw.
‘It was in the middle of the night. We’re bemused ourselves, we don’t know [what it is].
‘We do feel there is something strange going on because people do get from time to time a real chill in the air when they go past that area.
‘It’s very interesting – one of my teachers brings his pet in with him but the pet never wants to go down that way.’
The ‘entity’ seemed to approach the area closer to the camera installed, and started banging on the nearby lockers. One of the lockers can be seen rocking back and forth, before one of the locker doors opened, with its contents spilling all over the floor.
He continued: ‘I’m a sceptic myself but we said we’d throw it up on our Facebook page, simply because we don’t know is this a prank or what? Is somebody playing games with us?
‘It’s a very old building, going back a number of years and it’s got a lot of history.
‘People in old buildings are always hearing noises and strange sounds but this is the first time we’ve actually caught something.
‘We’d often come across papers strewn about but we were never able to say what it was, we just assumed it was students that were doing it.’
But when they thought the poltergeist attack would stop at that, the caution sign on the floor suddenly flew away, as if it were violently kicked by someone.
The principal added: ‘Because we have motion-sensor detectors now, we should have been able to detect other people coming towards that area on the other cameras, and we haven’t been able to.’
