Brunei visit ni Duterte, produktibo; ilang ASEAN leaders nakaugnayan – Palasyo

Ipinagmalaki ng Malacañang na naging produktibo ang pagbisita ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Brunei Darussalam kung saan dumalo ito sa Golden Jubilee celebration ng pag-upo sa trono ni Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Si Pangulong Duterte ay nakabalik na sa Davao City kaninang 1:47 ng madaling kasama ang kanyang delegasyon.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, pinagtibay ni Pangulong Duterte kay Sultan Bolkiah ang matagal at malapit na ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Brunei Darussalam at pinag-ibayo pa ang espesyal na pagkakaibigan ng dalawang bansa.

Ayon kay Abella, maliban kay Bolkiah, nakasalamuha din ng pangulo sina Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Indonesian President Joko Widodo at Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Umaasa umano si Pangulong Duterte na mapalawak pa ang bilateral cooperation sa Brunei at pagsusulong ng mas payapa, maunlad at progresibong ASEAN.

“The President also reaffirmed the long and enduring ties between the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam and renewed the special friendship between the two countries,” ani Abella. “The celebration was also an occasion to reaffirm ties with key leaders from within and outside of the region, including Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen, Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo and Malaysia’s Prime Minister Najib Razak.”
