The family immediately noticed that her body was still soft!
In a village in Ilagan City, Isabela in the Philippines, a child has been reported to have been dug up from her grave after her family was advised by a ‘faith healer’ that she was still alive. Hoping against hope that their child was still alive, they dug her up and waited for her to ‘wake up from her slumber’ in their home.
Jenny Rose Jacinto had a high fever on August 28, 2017. After she was given her medicine, Jenny’s fever went down. However, she began having chills and high fever again soon. Jenny was brought to the Isabela Provincial Hospital where she was declared dead the following day. the devastated father, Jimmy Jacinto, brought her home where her wake was held for a day, before she was buried on Friday, September 1, 2017.
However, a relative named Gemma Jacinto De Villa came to their house and told them that a certain ‘faith healer’ said that their daughter is still alive. Hoping that their daughter was still alive, the 47-year-old father and his wife, 43-year-old Gina Jacinto, immediately dug the grave up and brought their daughter out. The couple claims they were surprised that their daughter’s body was still soft. In addition to that, they also claimed that their daughter ‘soiled her pants’ while they waited for her to wake up. Believing that their daughter was still alive, the family began giving her drops of water in her mouth.
But when the faith healer finally visited them, the latter claimed that their daughter was dug up too late, and that she is already dead. The family is still in a dilemma and doesn’t know what to do with the corpse.
