Enrique Gil is one of the Kapamilya network’ s most famous actors in the Kapamilya network. In fact, he has a very recent movie called “Seven Sundays” with Dingdong Dantes, a known GMA talent. The said movie is a family drama that tells the story of four siblings who reunited with each other after their father was diagnosed with cancer. Along the way, they have to resolve their own unresolved issues among themselves in the process.
Dingdong plays the role of the eldest child in the movie while Enrique Gil plays one of his younger siblings. The whole cast appeared on the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay,” where Dingdong and Enrique revealed that they are actually related by blood.
The clip was uploaded on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s site. It immediately started with Jolina Magdangal, who said, “Di ko alam kung alam ng iba, pero si Dingdong at si Enrique, ay magpinsan pala sa totoong buhay!”
Dingdong butted in and said with a smile, “Oo, tito ko, tito ko si Enrique Gil.”
“Magpinsan,” Ronaldo Valdez said with a laugh. “Pero ‘yung totoo pala, mag-tiyuhin!”
“Sino ang tito, ikaw?” Melai Cantiveros asked as she gestured to Enrique Gil. The actor confirmed with a simple, “Oo.”
Melai and Jolina laughed in disbelief but Karla Estrada butted in and explained, “Nangyayari ‘yan ‘pag masyadong malaki ‘yung clan! Masyadong malaki ‘yung family, nangyayari ‘yan.”
Melai said that it’s not really surprising since both actors are mestizos.
Meanwhile, Jolina asked them about their experiences in working with each other in the movie, knowing that they are related in real life.
According to Enrique Gil, “Mas close kami… dito, nag-bond na talaga kami, nag-usap, solid. Solid.”
Dingdong nodded his head in confirmation.
In an additional report from Star Cinema, it was revealed that the two actually met at a family reunion several years ago, when Enrique Gil was just a boy.
“First time ko siya nakilala parang family reunion ng mga relatives. Nakita ko lang siya [and I didn’t really watch the other network] pero sabi ko ‘oh, artista.’ But I knew I saw you somewhere…ang tagal na noon, remember? Bata pa ako noon.”
