The recent hearings on fake news have created a buzz in social media regarding Mocha Uson’s status as a social media figure as well as the the continuing proliferation of fake news in Philippine media .
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal, Ethel Booba has voiced out her thoughts about Mocha Uson’s latest stance on her “blogger” status. As it could be remembered, before she bagged the role of the Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), Mocha managed a Facebook page, where she identified herself as a blogger.
Now, the source cited that Ethel Booba expressed her strong sentiments against Mocha’s supposed blogger stance. In her tweets posted on her personal Twitter account under the handle of @IamEthylGabison, she shared the following:
As you could see, she did not specifically dropped Mocha’s name but based on the subject matter of her tweets, it was evident that she may have been referring to Mocha.

Agot Isidro, with the handle of @agot_isidro, claimed that she was a victim of fake news as well. According to her, she should be at the Senate hearing too, following Mocha’s definition of being a “fake news victim.”
