Facebook is used by nearly two billion people all over the globe. It enables people who are oceans apart to communicate instantaneously. On Oct. 9, 2017, at around 8 p.m., a Facebook user posted two photos of his injured brother. Seeking prayers and help, the netizen also sought justice for his brother.
According to the netizen, his brother got injured after he was burned alive while working at a famous fast food chain located in Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija. The incident happened on Oct. 3 as the mall opening was also taking place. He expressed his disappointment towards the fast food chain who only extended their efforts to look for his injured brother after his story went viral.

The netizen narrated that his brother would wake up in the middle of the night and complain about his burnt skin. He said that there are also times when his brother would dream about the incident and cry his eyes out. His family believes that he did not just suffer from physical injury, but also acquired emotional trauma. He also questioned the way that the fast-food chain reacted to the situation.
Many netizens shared their frustrations about the management of the fast-food chain. Some of them even tagged mainstream media outfits as a way to bring more awareness to this case. Most netizens hoped for the fast recovery of the Facebook user’s brother and offered their prayers.
