Joey de Leon rebutted and said:
Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards defended the old woman and said that depression is a real condition that severely affects lots of people.
She said to him:
In another previous report, many local celebrities also expressed their opinions about the insensitive remarks of Joey de Leon. Some of them include Bianca Gonzalez, Agot Isidro, Bela Padilla, Khalil Ramos, and the like.

Now, in a video shared by the official YouTube channel of “Eat Bulaga,” Joey de Leon has publicly apologized on television for his insensitive comments.
“Bago tayo mag-umpisa, may importante akong sasabihin.
