Nadine Lustre and her family experienced something unimaginable and ultimately, tragic. They have lost a son and a brother. On October 7, Isaiah Lustre was found bloody and motionless in his room in their house in Quezon City. He was then rushed to the Pacific Global Medical Center but the doctors declared that Isaiah was dead on arrival.
Isaiah’s death was confirmed by an aunt named Nona Clemente. Aunt Nona shared on her Twitter account that all should pray for Isaiah.
“Please lift a prayer for my nephew, Isaiah Lustre. Eternal rest grant unto him Oh Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. #keepgoing”
Anyone who hasn’t gone through losing a family member doesn’t have the slightest idea what Nadine and her family are going through. And when we all thought that everyone would pay respects to the grieving family, surprisingly, bashers and haters of the actress made their presence and hateful opinions known. Even in such a bad and fragile time.
There were those who said that Nadine wasn’t affected at all by her 16-year-old brother’s death. That she was putting more time and effort with other things in her life, such as her relationship. There is no denying that these assumptions are unfounded because everyone has a different way of grieving. Nadine may not want to show everyone how she is affected by this loss, and it is her right to do so.
But it seems as though she has had enough and finally broke her silence. On her social media account, she addresses these people and says that they will always see her up and never down. So there is no use in trying to find moments where she is and kindly asks them to get lost. But she also asks her fans and those who have given her support to wait for her.
The 23-year-old also requested that all of the people who might see photos and videos of her and the wake to not share them. Ending it with this,
“Let’s give respect. This is for EVERYONE. Thank you.”
We here at extend our deepest condolences to the family and we only wish strength and unity for you all as you go through this tough time.
