A month had passed when the museum, intended as a tribute to the late DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo, opened to the public, netizens are still venting out their disapprobation as to why the National Historical Commission of the Philippines funded putting up the said museum in Naga City with millions of pesos.
In a post of the satirical Facebook page “Leni Robredo Fashion Diary”, the “Museo ni Jesse Robredo” bombarded with so much criticisms.
“Yung 2 years lang nagsilbi sa national government, nagkaroon na ng P52 Mueseum built in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines. National budget pa din ba ang gamit to maintain the structure? Aba, ano yan, hero? 2 years lang as DILG, hero? Illustrious?”
The fact that the NHCP financed the building and operational expenses of the museum with millions of budget, it angered another netizen named Drew Mandapat.
In a comment he said, “tlaga lang ha. Ito mga dilawan ndi niyo aangalan, Tax ng Bayan ginamit dito. Hindi ksma ngaun si Bolet, batukan siya ni Jesse.”
Also in the comment section, Facebook user Grace Condino Esmeria expressed his fury towards the Yellows for pulling off the very same trick they had after Ninoy’s death.
Wtf mas mahal PA Museo nya kesa s Mga bahay ng Yolanda victim kulang na lang gawing tig 1k budget nawat isang bahay satap magmura hayop,” she said.
