A stressed out seller is airing her grievances with a well-known courier service. She has discovered that in the eight boxes that were delivered to her, one has been tampered with. In the process, she lost two very valuable items. She posted on her business’ Facebook account, which has now been taken down, her experience and her call for justice.
The business, Zelle Fones, mentioned the courier service and pleaded with them to take action. The seller revealed that they have been using this particular courier service for all their transactions and it’s heartbreaking to experience something like this with a trusted brand.
The admin of the account enumerates the items in one particular box. It consisted of an iPhone 7 Plus 32 GB and 2 iPhone 7 Plus 32GB. But when she got home to check on these boxes, she was shocked to find this package opened. The food keeper that held these 3 phones were opened, the seal or the tape that was supposed to keep it closed was tampered, and the bubble wrap was torn open.
It’s clearly obvious that someone wanted to get what was inside. And they did, the seller was shocked to find out that only one iPhone was left.
The seller checked all sides of the boxes and discovered that the bottom part was the one that was slashed open. She said that she wasn’t home to check her items and it was her mother who received it from the courier. She understood that her mom could not have been aware of this since there were 8 boxes and the signs of tampering were at the bottom.
The seller have used this courier service for a long time, so naturally they trusted those who deliver their packages. There was no forethought of anything malicious like this to happen to them.
The seller claims that a huge sum money was lost after these phones were stolen. Although we aren’t sure what exactly has happened, these pictures lead to the conclusion that someone knew what was inside and decided to steal the items.
They were disheartened to be victims of this kind of modus operandi because they had trustworthy dealings with the service in the past. She asked the courier service to investigate this issue with the tampered boxes; because firstly it was a very serious crime, secondly they were delivering hundreds of phones to the seller on a weekly basis. The seller simply can’t understand how this happened.
