Senator Risa Hontiveros has been held responsible for spearheading a student protest amongst grade schoolers in St. Scholastica Manila and was duly bashed for her actions.

Deeming it as an act of poisoning children’s minds, singer Jimmy Bondoc could not help but criticize the senator for influencing children to jettison her political propaganda.

Bondoc said it may have been more proper if it were college students because they are in the right mindset to make political decisions, and not grade school students who may easily be persuaded.

The singer emphasized that no matter the political leanings, both sides must make an effort to straighten out their work. Instead of vested interests, Bondoc suggested that Hontiveros focuses on the Uber issue and not drag children into politics.

In his full post on Facebook, Bondoc said,

I am all for peace.

In the same way* that WE do our best to clean our ranks and ourselves, sana KAYO rin.
