Stories about undeniable connections and strong bonds between grandparents and their grandkids have been known to many. People even say that grandparents love their grandkids more than their children. It may seem a little ridiculous but some grandparents testified about it and said that it was kind of the reality. Some even got to the point where they tell that to their kids.
Grandparents may love their children, of course, but it is widely agreed upon that their patience for the new generation was the thing that they can never give to their children.
Take it from this grandpa who was doing his grocery in a supermarket with his grandson. While the grandfather was busy putting their grocery items on their grocery cart, the the little brat was also busy screaming his heart out with his loud cries. Then grandfather said calmly “Easy, William, we won’t be long. Easy, boy.”
When another scene was made by the bratty kid, the grandpa just said “It’s okay William, just a couple more minutes and we’ll be out of here. Hang in there, boy.” One woman got curious as to what the calm grandfather would do next. So she followed the grandfather and grandson tandem throughout their visit in the supermarket.
When the pair were finally on the register to pay for their items, the little bundle of “joy” started throwing the items out of the cart. His old man just said “William, William, relax buddy, don’t get upset. We’ll be home in five short minutes; stay cool, William.”
Impressed, the lady followed them outside and said “It’s none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don’t know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure and no matter how loud and disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. William is very lucky to have you as his grandpa.”
The grandfather then replied “Thanks,” however, the grandfather said “but I’m William. The little brat’s name is Kevin.”
