Many families go to water parks, especially in the summer season.
However, there is this certain water park that can be used as a set for a thriller or horror movie. One could only imagine what it was once like. It has now turned into a mess of dirt, graffiti, and garbage.
The Water Wonderland is located between Midland and Odessa, Texas. It began its operations in 1980 and was widely known in West Texas. Sadly, the place had to close in 2003. It has now turned into an eerie wasteland.
Meanwhile, photographer Zach De La Rosa visited the Water Wonderland. Through his drone, he was able to record what appears to be a sequence in an apocalyptic or zombie movie. Set designers do not need to spend a lot of effort making the location look creepy.

What was once was a happy place where many people gather has now been deserted. The only things that could be seen around the place are garbage, graffiti, and broken glass. The abandoned water park’s bumper cars and golf courses are covered with tall grass and weeds.
From the photos and videos, it can be seen that the place is a total wreck.
