Earlier today, Maria Josephina Vergina Laurio revealed herself as the content writer of the anti-administrator blog, Pinoy Ako.

The said blog has been under attack by pro-Duterte bloggers and online influencers RJ Nieto of the Thinking Pinoy blog and and Sass Sasot. Consequently, Laurio was put on the spotlight and received a lot of bashes and criticisms.
Writer and social media personality Krizette Laureta Chu fearlessly criticized Laurio for being an anonymous blogger for a very long time, throwing slanderous statements against the administration.

Chu refuted Laurio’s coming out as “wrong and dishonest”.
Moreover, the magazine editor narrated she bravely stood up against the previous administration without hiding her identity from the public even if it meant putting her life in danger yet Laurio, on the other hand, hid under the shadows, for she is afraid to be held accountable for all her doings.
“You wanted to have your cake and eat it too. You wanted the freedom but none of the responsibility. You were the Makapili, the traitors, paid to damage people. You wanted to bully people into silence behind cartoon photos. You wanted people to question the credibility of people like me (ano ba alam niyan?) but you didn’t want people to question YOUR credibility (ano ba ang alam mo?) You used people’s education and background against them, but you weren’t willing to have your education, background, and profile used against you,” Chu complained.

“The only thing all these anti Duterte people are afraid of is ACCOUNTABILITY. So stop your drama and pretensions, because the only people who believe in your bullshit are the people as stupid as you,” the Chu added.
In her full Facebook post, Chu said,
“One of the favorite excuses of anonymous bloggers like Vergina (why would your mother name you that, ‘ehkasher merlerki na itong Vergina ko’) is that it’s easier for us pro admin supporters to come out because we’re safer and not going up against the ruling admin. And you can’t because you’re afraid for your life.

Wrong and dishonest.
Fallacious argument because:
1. When I started fighting for Duterte in 2015, I went up against the current government.
2. During election time, you were already anonymous even when you didn’t know who would win. Kailan ba nagsimula ang mga anonymous blogs eh election time naman?
3.l I’ve said harsh things during the Aquino admin especially during the time of Yolanda. And this was when the government was the vicious kind, the kind who would send a critic to jail. Kayo buhay pa at malaya di ba? Remember that heckler, a kid really, who was hauled to jail?

Remember, CYBERCRIME LAW was pitched during the government of Aquino, allegedly in response to the term noynoying and other insults he couldn’t deal with. I fought for that.Remember? He wanted to penalize people into silence with a 10 year jail term and 500k (if I remember correctly the amount) punishment.
Buti na lang na TRO sa Supreme Court. But that’s the kind of governance he had, he pushed to make people quiet. And now Duterte says he is not interested in penalizing “fake news.” As in, bahala kayo kung ano ang gusto ninyo sabihin.
One of the provisions of the Cybercrime Law was if you shared a damaging post, even LIKED a damaging post, you will be a respondent to the case. Ganong level sila manakot. I remember thinking then, WOW ANAK BA TALAGA NG FREEDOM FIGHTERS SI NOYNOY? This is almost dictatorial. I hope you remember, or at least review, that proposed cybercrime law so you can see how Aquino very nearly removed our freedom of speech.
So the only reason you are anonymous, Jover, is not because you are afraid to speak freely, it’s because you know in your hearts that your only purpose for existence is to DESTABILIZE, DISCREDIT, and DAMAGE the reputation of the President and his supporters.
The only reason is: YOU DONT WANT ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE LIES YOU WILL SAY, FOR THE INSULTS YOU WILL THROW, FOR THE CHARGES AND SLANDEROUS STATEMENTS. You wanted to have your cake and eat it too. You wanted the freedom but none of the responsibility. You were the Makapili, the traitors, paid to damage people. You wanted to bully people into silence behind cartoon photos. You wanted people to question the credibility of people like me (ano ba alam niyan?) but you didn’t want people to question YOUR credibility (ano ba ang alam mo?) You used people’s education and background against them, but you weren’t willing to have your education, background, and profile used against you.
Sino ba ang rerespeto sa ganito? You don’t fight fair. You wanted the upper hand anonymity brought so you can engage in a SLANDER-ALL-YOU-CAN posts and not have to face the consequence. This is just in alignment to your philosophy of: “IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE TRUE. IT JUST NEEDS TO LOOK LIKE IT.”
That’s the only reason. Your reasons for wanting anonymity is not noble, but malicious and cowardly.
I will die for my beliefs. I will fight for my freedom to speak even if it costs me my life, which is why I am unafraid to come out when I could be just another pathetic anonymous blogger spewing hate without being responsible for it. And everything I say on my wall, I can get behind 100 percent, and if I make a mistake, then in the interest of fairness I should pay for it.
